he 5 Nights / 6 Days Chardham Yatra by Helicopter package offers a luxury pilgrimage experience originating from Sahastradhara Helidrome in Dehradun, covering all four sacred Himalayan shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Designed for comfort and speed, the standard itinerary typically includes 1 night stay in Dehradun upon arrival followed by 1 night each near the four Dhams, complete with ground transfers, premium vegetarian meals, local sightseeing, pony/palki arrangements for Yamunotri, and expedited VIP Darshans at every temple.

• Priority Darshan with assistance at Yamunotri, Gangotri ,Kedarnath & Badrinath.

Note:- Package cost is subject to change in case of any revision in Government Royalty Fees or shuttle helicopter charges by the UCADA.

Important Information

Tour Briefing & Luggage:

• A comprehensive tour briefing will be conducted by our team at your hotel in the evening.
• Each participant will be provided with a duffel bag to pack essential items, with a weight limit of 3-5kg. Larger luggage can be stored in the hotel cloakrooms, as carrying big bags or suitcases on the helicopter is not permitted.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• 1.EXTRA WEIGHT CHARGES Helicopters have strict weight restrictions at high altitudes. Passengers weighing more than 75 Kgs will have to pay 2500 Rs per Kg for Chardham additional weight .
• 2.Extra weight charges will be applicable on the additional weight coming over and above the average weight. For example: If two persons are weighing 50kg and 105kg then their total weight is 155kgs whereas average weight of 2 persons is 150kg. Hence in this case they will be charged additional weight charges of 5kg.
• 3.If the additional average weight is more than 25kgs then the passenger will be charged for two seats. For example: If one passenger weight is 70 kgs and second passenger weight is 110kgs then total weight becomes 180kgs and in this case additional average weight is 30kg. Hence the passenger will have to pay for an additional seat.
• 4.Passengers are advised to mention the correct weight at the time of booking. All these temples are at high altitude locations and helicopters have strict weight restrictions . Heavy weights can adversely affect safety of helicopters as well as passengers. If declared weight exceeds more than 2 KG at the time of travel, the company will deny boarding to passengers and will not give ANY REFUND . Hence Everyone is advised to mention exact and correct weights at the time of booking.
• 5.Helicopters’ have limited weight carrying capacity; to manage the weight for safe flying in the hills, we might have to shuffle passengers between helicopters. Therefore, as per Pilot’s recommendation passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in the same helicopter flight.
• 6. The quality of accommodation available at Yamunotri is above average but at Harsil Sersi and Badrinath the accommodation standard is 03 to 04 star.
• 7.The Helicopter Schedule mentioned in the Itinerary is Fixed. However, mountain flying is tricky and we can encounter delays due to weather or technical reasons.
• 8.Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included in all hotels. At Dehradun hotel only Dinner & Breakfast is included in the package. Any extras will have to be paid directly by the guest.
• 9.Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket.
• 10.Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 5 % of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 15 days before the journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 15 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.

GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS

• 1. ONLY 3 - 5KG (Chardham) & 3 KG(Do Dham) in luggage per person is permitted
• 2.Passengers should carry only handbags provided by Nitya Tours & Travels as suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter.
• 3.All temples in Chardham are located in high altitude areas. Passengers having breathing problems should take advice from a doctor before undertaking this yatra
• 4.Although day temperatures at these locations are normal, it becomes cold in the night and so passengers must carry woolen clothes with them.
• 5.The altitude of Kedarnath temple is 11500 Feet and Badrinath temple is 10000 Feet. Sometimes passengers may experience lack of oxygen especially at Kedarnath, hence they are advised to walk slowly .Portable oxygen bottles are available at all stations on a requirement basis .
• 6.Kedarnath helipad to the temple distance is nearly 500 meters. Pithu (Shoulder Carriage) is available on payment basis .
• 7.All passengers coming by helicopters are permitted to do Special darshans inside the temple however sometimes during the heavy rush period administration does not allow passengers to go inside the sanctum sanctorum for puja and darshans are done from a little distance .
• 8.Please don’t carry Dangerous goods on board the Helicopters. In case of any doubt regarding any item, please clarify with our team in advance
