Day Plan

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and briefed about your upcoming journey through Kenya’s most iconic wildlife regions. Thereafter, depart by road from Nairobi toward Amboseli National Park, a scenic drive that offers glimpses of rural Kenya and changing landscapes.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in. Amboseli is world-famous for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, often seen rising dramatically above the plains. The park is also renowned for its large herds of elephants, often seen up close against the backdrop of the mountain.
Fed by underground springs from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow, the park supports lush swamps that attract a wide variety of wildlife, including buffalo, zebras, giraffes and numerous predators. Bird enthusiasts will also appreciate the park’s diversity, with over 420 bird species recorded.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and drive toward the Great Rift Valley region, arriving at Lake Naivasha or Lake Elementaita in time for a late lunch.
These freshwater and soda lakes are surrounded by picturesque landscapes, acacia woodlands and abundant birdlife. Lake Naivasha, in particular, is known for its populations of hippos and over 400 species of birds, including fish eagles and pelicans.
