The High on the Himalayas package offers an expansive 6-night, 7-day retreat into the soul of the Eastern Himalayas, blending world-famous tea heritage with the spiritual serenity of the high mountains. The journey begins with two nights in Darjeeling, where the morning sun illuminates the Kanchenjunga range and the aroma of premium tea gardens fills the air. You then transition to three nights in Gangtok, the heart of Sikkim, providing ample time to explore the high-altitude wonders of Tsomgo Lake and the vibrant culture of MG Marg. The circuit concludes with a peaceful one-night stay in Kalimpong, a charming town renowned for its orchid nurseries and colonial-era architecture, offering a quiet moment of reflection before your departure. This itinerary is expertly designed for those who want a comprehensive look at the region’s diverse landscapes while maintaining a relaxing pace.

Inclusions

• Accommodation in well-appointed rooms as mentioned in the above hotels or equivalent with the selected meal plan.
• Transportation using Wagon R / Similar for 02-03 Pax 
• Transportation using AC Innova/Xylo (Similar) for 04-06 pax
• All Parking Charges.
• All currently applicable Taxes.
• AC will not be operational when travelling in the hills
• Vehicle is not on disposal but as per itinerary
• Vehicle will be changed depending on local vehicle regulations and road / weather condition.
• All transfers and sightseeing-using vehicle as mentioned (Vehicle will be without the carrier)
• Driver allowances, toll taxes, Road Taxes and Parking charges.

• Entrance fees to sightseeing place
• Nathula pass/Yumesamdong/Mirik Excursion & Toy train ride in Darjeeling at additional Cost & on availability.
• Personal Expenses: such as Laundry, Telephone Calls, Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic Beverages, Food (if not included)
• Additional Sightseeing or usage of vehicle not mentioned in the itinerar
•  Any services not mentioned in the itinerary
• High Season Surcharge
• Items of personal nature like laundry, phone calls, tips to guides / drivers etc. 
• Camera / Video camera fees applicable at monument.

Note :

•    Hotel Check-in and check-out as per hotel policy.
• State reserves the right to close any tourist place if found necessary without prior notice.
•  Peak Period surcharge will be applicable for booking on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions and long weekends. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of booking.
• Please carefully note the opening and closing days of each of the sightseeing points given in the itinerary.
• Most of the 7 sightseeing points in Darjeeling are closed on Thursdays, Forests are also closed on Thursdays, In Gangtok, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms are closed on Sundays.
• Nathula Pass is closed on Mondays and Tuesday and is subject to the availability of permits from the army.
•  Guest need to carry valid ID proof to obtain special permits required for sightseeing
• Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked for
• Toy train tickets & Cable car tickets are subject to availability & days of operations

 Important Points to Note :

•  In case of any diversion due to landslide/road block any additional cost incurred with be payable directly by the guest.
•   Vehicle will be provided as per itinerary (point to point basis, and no disposal).
•     In this sector the same vehicle - irrespective of the vehicle type is not allowed to do the entire tour due to various restrictions at each destinations. Vehicles will be changed and our executives will keep the guests informed about the same.
• Please ask the guest to carry valid ID proof (PAN Card /Aadhar Card not acceptable) and 4 copy passport size photograph for Tsomgo Lake/Baba Mandir Visit. These excursions are subject to road and weather conditions. Once the permits have been issued in case you are unable to reach the points because of a landslide / road block / snowfall, there will be no refund applicable.
•    A few sightseeing places are closed on particular days of the week in every destination. While routing the program a few points may be closed on particular days of sightseeing in which case alternate open points in the city will be covered but it will not be possible to cover those closed points on next day.
•  Tiger Hill in Darjeeling cannot be guaranteed as there is a limitation on the total number of vehicles permitted to visit every day, in case the visit cannot be done early in the morning, the point will be visited anytime during the day.
•    Ac will be switched off while travelling to uphill for the vehicle to function properly.
• Visiting Tiger Hill requires obtaining a special permit in advance, which can be obtained by informing the concerned authorities. In case the guest decides not to visit, the permit must be returned along with a written statement by 09:30-10:00am, stating the reason for not visiting. The driver for sightseeing may arrive a little late due to this process. If the guest chooses to visit Tiger Hill in the morning, they will not be able to visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop due to traffic regulations. However, guests have the option of visiting Tiger Hill during the day and can also visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop if they choose to do so.
