Package Overview
The HIMALAYAN ORCHID package is an extensive 8 Nights/9 Days tour (2N Darjeeling, 1N Kalimpong, 2N Gangtok, 2N Lachung, 1N Gangtok) that provides a comprehensive experience of the West Bengal hills and North Sikkim, usually starting and ending at NJP/Bagdogra. The itinerary focuses on the classic sights, including the magnificent Tiger Hill sunrise view of Mt. Kanchenjunga in Darjeeling; the tranquil charm and nurseries of Kalimpong; the popular excursions from Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir; and the remote, high-altitude beauty of North Sikkim with two nights in Lachung for an excursion to the famous Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers), with the final night in Gangtok serving as a transit before departure, and the package generally covers accommodation, permits for North Sikkim, and all non-AC vehicle transfers.

Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,738 Ft.) in North Sikkim. On the way, take a break for some beautiful spots that are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) and Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung, check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.

After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley, which is known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft.). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back, visit Hot Spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. After lunch free for individual activities, Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.
