Package Overview

The North-East Beauty: 2N Kaziranga + 2N Shillong package is a popular 4-night/5-day tour that combines the wildlife of Assam with the serene hills of Meghalaya, typically starting and ending at Guwahati. The itinerary focuses on an immersive experience at Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the one-horned rhinoceros, which includes both an early morning Elephant Safari and an afternoon Jeep Safari. The tour then proceeds to Shillong, the "Scotland of the East," where the days are dedicated to sightseeing, most notably a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee (the wettest place on Earth) to see natural wonders like the Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, and Elephant Falls, along with visits to Umium Lake and Shillong Peak en route. The package generally includes all transfers via private A/C vehicle, hotel accommodation on a twin-sharing basis, and daily complimentary breakfast, though costs for entrance fees, personal expenses, and flights are usually excluded.

• Personal Expenses such as Laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding and porterage.
• Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
• Entrance Fees & Guide charges.
• Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, is directly payable on the spot).
• Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
• Room Heater Charges
• Insurance.
• Anything specifically not mentioned in the ‘Cost includes’ column.

Note:

• Elephant safari is strictly subject to the sole discretion of the Park Authority and is offered only on availability.
• If you get chance to go for Elephant Safari at Central (Kohora) range you have to pay Rs.1000 per forest vehicle directly for pick up and drop from hotel as outside vehicle is not allowed to go to riding point(Central range) due to no-horn zone.
