This extensive 8 Nights/9 Days Package is a grand spiritual and cultural odyssey that connects four major holy cities of Uttar Pradesh—Ayodhya (Lord Rama's birthplace), Varanasi (the spiritual capital and Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga site), Prayagraj (site of the sacred Triveni Sangam), and Chitrakoot (a key location from the Ramayana)—with the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. The itinerary typically dedicates multiple days to the religious centers of Ayodhya (Ram Janmabhoomi) and Varanasi (Ganga Aarti, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sarnath), includes the pilgrimage to the holy confluence in Prayagraj and the forested hills of Chitrakoot (Ramghat, Kamadgiri), and uniquely features an excursion or overnight stay to explore the magnificent, intricately carved Hindu and Jain temples of Khajuraho, renowned for their artistic and historical significance, with the entire journey covering all accommodations, daily meals (usually breakfast), and transfers between the five distinct destinations via dedicated A/C transportation.
Day Plan
Arrive Ayodhya airport/railway station and transfer to hotel. Check in at hotel and rest. Later visit Ram Mandir, also known as Shri Ramlalla Mandir, is a partially constructed Hindu temple complex in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Hindu people believe that it is located at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, the mythical birthplace of Rama, a principal deity of Hinduism. The temple was inaugurated on 22 January 2024 after a prana pratishtha (consecration) ceremony. In the evening visit Sarayu Aarti is an evening ritual at the Saryu Ghat, particularly Ram Ki Paidi, involving priests offering lamps and performing Vedic chants and bhajans. Held at sunset, the event features the lighting of numerous lamps, creating a beautiful display of light and devotion on the holy river, which is considered spiritually significant. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to get a good spot and can participate by lighting their own lamps.Later return to hotel. Stay overnight in Ayodhya.

Garhi is a prominent and ancient Hindu temple in Ayodhya, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located atop a hill and requiring the climb of 76 steps to reach the main shrine. It features a unique fort- like architecture with circular ramparts and is considered a vital first stop for devotees visiting Ayodhya, as per tradition. Kanak Bhawan (Golden Palace) is a historic temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita, built in 1891 by Queen Vrishabhanu Kunwari. It is
believed to be the private palace of the divine couple, gifted to Sita by Queen Kaikeyi after her marriage, and features idols of Ram and Sita with golden crowns under a silver roof. Sita Rasoi is a sacred site believed to be the ancient kitchen where Goddess Sita, wife of Lord Rama, cooked for her family and saints. The complex features a temple with idols of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshman, along withexhibit ancient vessels believed to have been used by Sita.
If time permit again visit Ram Mandir. Later visit Sarayu Ghats is a sacred, historically significant location on the banks of the Saryu River, famous for the evening Saryu Aarti, ritualistic holy dips, and cultural importance as Lord Rama's rumored cremation site. Visitors can witness a mesmerizing spiritual atmosphere, take boat rides during the aarti, and enjoy the serene riverbanks. Later return to hotel. Stay overnight in Ayodhya.

Walk up early morning and proceed to enjoy Sunrise Boat Ride on river Ganges - A sunrise boat ride in Varanasi, often referred to as "Subah Banaras," is a popular and serene experience on the Ganges River. Return to hotel, after having breakfast and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple featuring an impressive 18th century gold-plated spire and a sacred well. It's also the only Jyotirlinga in Uttar Pradesh. Later visit Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is a sprawling residential university located on the banks of the Ganges River. Bharat Mata Mandir, unique, one-of-a-kind monument dedicated to "Mother India" (Bharat Mata), inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936. Unlike traditional temples, it features a large, detailed 3D relief map of undivided India, carved from marble, as its central exhibit. Also visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon at the deer park after his enlightenment. Sarnath is one of the four holy Buddhist sites sanctioned by the Buddha himself for pilgrimage. Later return to hotel. Stay overnight in Varanasi

The temple is known for its colossal, 20-foot-tall idol of Hanuman, which is in a reclining position below ground level and becomes submerged in the Ganges River during the monsoon season, Allahabad Fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1583 at the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers. It was the largest fort built by him, notable for its design and craftsmanship, Anand Bhawan Museum is a historic house museum in Allahabad, which belongs to the Nehru family. It was constructed by Motilal Nehru in the 1930s to serve as the residence of the Nehru family, Allahabd Museum is a national importance museum located in Chandra Shekhar Azad Park that houses vast collections of ancient sculptures, art, manuscripts, and archaeological objects. Later return to hotel. Stay overnight in Prayagraj.

After early breakfast drive to Chitrakoot for same day tour. On arrival in Chitrakoot visit Ramghat is a revered riverside pilgrimage site in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, located on the banks of the sacred Mandakini River. It's known as the spot where Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshman met poet Goswami Tulsidas, and where he composed the Ram Charitra Manas, Hanuman Dhara temple features a natural rock formation of Lord Hanuman where a perennial stream of water flows over the deity's tail, believed to have been created by Lord Rama to cool Hanuman's tail after the Lanka Dahan, Sati Anusuya temple is a sacred ashram and temple dedicated to Sati Anusuya, wife of Sage Atri, located in a forest area along the Mandakini River, about 18 km from Ramghat, Bharat Milap Temple marks the spot where, according to the Ramayana, Lord Rama and his brother Bharat met during Rama's exile, and Bharat tried to persuade him to return to Ayodhya. Later drive back to Prayagraj. Stay overnight in Prayagraj.

After breakfast depart to Khajuraho. En route visit Kalinjar Fort boasts a rich history spanning centuries. It was a significant stronghold for the Chandela dynasty, known for its strategic importance and architectural grandeur. The fort successfully repelled invasions by Mahmud of Ghazni and others, only to later fall under the control of the Mughals, including Akbar, who gifted it to Birbal. Later, it passed through the hands of the Bundelkhand kings and the British before India's independence. Later continue drive to Khajuraho. On arrival check in at hotel. In the evening visit Light & Sound Show at Khajuraho temples. Return to hotel and overnight stay in Khajuraho.

After breakfast enjoy Khajuraho sightseeing and visit The Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho is a cluster of well-preserved Hindu temples, including the Kandariya Mahadeva, Lakshmana Temple, and Varaha Temple, known for their exquisite nagara-style architecture and intricate sculptures depicting divine, mortal, and erotic themes. Built by the Chandela Dynasty between the 10th and 11th centuries, these temples are part of a larger UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases the artistic and architectural zenith of ancient India.
Later visit The Eastern Group of temples features both Hindu and Jain deities, built by the Chandela dynasty between 950-1050 AD, with key temples including the Parsvanatha, Adinatha, and Shantinath (Jain) and the Vamana and Javari (Hindu). Also visit Dulhadev Temple, part of the Khajuraho Group of Monuments, is dedicated to Lord Shiva and built in the 12th century during the Chandela dynasty and Chaturbhuj Temple Dedicated to Lord Vishnu was built by the rulers of Chandela dynasty in 1100 AD. The name is so derived from the word 'chaturbhuj', which means 'one with four arms'. This is so with the presiding deity Lord Vishnu who has four arms. Stands lonely and serene on a high platform, this is the only important temple in Khajuraho that faces west.
